Tuna

TUNA

If you want excitement, sport and the ultimate in fishing challenges, then our tuna trips are for you! The Frances Fleet has been Canyon fishing since Capt. Frank opened up the East Coast style to the general public nearly three decades ago. Captains Mike and Don have worked very hard over the years and their experience has served our customers well.
Our tuna trips are not for everyone, however. Due to the large size, weight and strength of the fish, we recommend these trips only to those anglers in good physical condition with no heart problems. If this is you, be prepared to catch albacore, yellowfin and bigeye tuna as well as swordfish, mahi-mahi and bonito. Fish average 75 lbs., but we’ve pulled in some weighing over 300 lbs.!
Due to the overwhelming demand for these trips, we try to schedule three per week, but they do fill up fast. For your comfort, all of our trips carry a limited number of passengers.
