Wednesday March 28th

Unfortunately the weather has kept us at the dock for the last three days, and again for tomorrow Thursday March 29th. We are hoping to resume our schedule on Friday and the weekend, but be sure to give us a call the day before.

Monday Morning Update March 26th 2012

Capt. Mike’s report from yesterday 3/25/12 local cod trip:

Slow start to the day today but finished with a chip that put a catch together for us…high hook had 5 keeps and everyone went home with at least some cod for dinner..few shorts in the mix as welll…no sail for at least tommorow Pics above are provided courtesy Capt. Mike

Sunday Morning Update March 24th 2012

Capt. Mike’s fishing report from yesterday Saturday March 23rd 2012:

¬†couldnt do a repeat performance of fridays fishing as we had a slow day saturday…a few handfull of keeper cod and a bunch of shorts but very quiet on the cod front…bunch of legal blackfish size chogs and a few ling to put soem more meat into the coolers but overall a tough day

Saturday Morning Update March 24th 2012

Capt. Mike’s report for Friday’s local cod trip March 23rd 2012:
good fishing today with everyone going home with plenty of cod for dinner …fish were very spread out with a few close or at their limit and the average guy was right @ 4per man..pool fish was 20lbs…fair amount of shorts as well to keep things moving right along. Friday Afternoon Update March 23rd 2012

Word from Cory from Capt. Mike was that cod fishing rebounded in a very strong fashion today with a modest group of anglers getting a nice pile of cod up to 20lbs. Capt. Mike’s report will be posted later along with any photos. Weather looks great for tomorrow and the Lady Frances will be set to sail at 5am with the office open at 4am for check ins and Capt. Mike at the helm.

Thursday Afternoon March 22nd 2012 Update

Capt. Chris was at the helm today and reported the local cod fishing to be very quiet. Tomorrow is a new day and the weather for tomorrow and Saturday sounds just fantastic. Capt. Mike will be setting sail at 5am both days on the Lady Frances with the office open by 4am for ticket sales and check ins. The weather for Sunday is starting to sound questionable so stay tuned for further updates on the second half of the upcoming weekend.
