Wednesday Oct 30th

Captain Mike reported a good day on the full day tog boat. We had a full boat limit with fish to just shy of 10 pounds. The action was much better then it has been in last few days. The water was much clearer. Mnay shorts and a good shot of cod in the mix as well. No trip tomorrow.

 

Captain Matt reported an OK day on the cod boat. We took the ride down to the corner but there was still alot of dogs. We picked through the dog and found some nice sea bass and cod. Biggest fish was up in the upper teens. No trip Friday

Tuesday Oct 29th

Captain Mike reported a grindy kind of a day on the blackfish boat. We picked fish all day long but wasnt as hot and heavy as it has been. High hooks left with limit catches. Pool fish was around 9 pounds. We will be sailing both boats tomorrow at 6am for tog and 7am for cod and sea bass

Monday Oct 28th

Captain Mike reported a little bit of a slower day with the dirty water on the Blackfish boat. The morning started off with a good roll and very dirty water. We picked a few fish but was the slowest start to a trip all year. We made some moves and anchored up and fish started coming over the rail like normal. Biggest fish on the day was just shy of 10 pounds. Many limits around the boat. Sailing tomorrow at 6am

Saturday Oct 26th

All trips cancelled for tomorrow Sunday Oct 27th

 

Captain Rich reported a decent day on the cod grounds. We did not have to deal with as many dogfish today which was a huge plus. We box some nice keeper cod to 12lbs. Full sea bass limit to 5lbs. Some scup in the mix but not as many as we have been having by the island. NO trip tomorrow and we are keeping an eye on Monday.

 

Captain Mike reported a good day on the blackfish grounds. We had a pick all day long and full coolers by days end. Not everyone left with a limit but most were only a fish shy. Bait and jigs both worked well. No trip tomorrow due to the gale force winds.

Friday OCt 25th

Both boats will be sailing morning. Blakcfish at 6am and Cod at 7am

 

Captain Mike reported a great day on the water. We grinded the grounds hard and came out with a full boat limit of quality fish. We had a great group and smiles all around. Biggest fish was 10 pounds. Sailing tomorrow at 6am.

 

Captain Rich reported an OKday on the grounds. We had solid sea bass fishing but the dogfish was all amazing. We had a few spots where the grey ones were 40ft thick. We manged a decent showing of cod, sea bass and scup. tomorrow is another day and we know where not to go. Sailing at 7am.

Thursday Oct 24th

Tomorrows weather looks amazing and we will be sailing both boats. Blackish on the Lady at 6am and Cod on the Gail at 7am

 

Captain Mike reported a good pick all day long on the blackfish boat. IT was a picture perfect day and the fish were coming over the rail. Many limits around the boat and some with only a few. The shorts kept things busy all trip. One angler reported catching 45 shorts. Back at it tomorrow at 6am

Wednesday Oct 23rd

Captain Mike reported a banner day on the blackfish boat. We had a full boat limit and was back to the dock for lunch. Pool fish on the day was a solid 12 pounds and 3 fish around 10 fish right behind it. Fishing was just up and down with keepers and shorts. We have plenty of room and will be back at it tomorrow at 6am.

Tuesday Oct 22nd

Captain Mike reported another full boat limit of blackfish. It look a little longer today in the sloppy weather by by days end happy faces all around. Biggest fish on the day was around 8lbs. We will be sailing tomorrow morning at 6am.

 

NO cod boat tomorrow only blackfish

Monday Oct 21st

Captain Mike reported a decent day on the Blackfish boat. The weather was rather windy but we picked away all day. Some did very well and some watched others do well. It was not the all out chewfest of the last few trips but the day ended up good. High hooks caught upwards of 20 keepers (orl). Biggest fish on the day was 11 pounds with a few other fish in the 8-10 range. We are scheduled to sail tomorrow morning at 6am.

Sunday Oct 20th

There will only be one boat tomorrow for black fish. No COD boat.

 

Captain Rich reported another good day on the full day cod grounds. We did it again and stayed close to home and avoided the dogs. It was drop and stick fishing all day long. Scup, Sea bass, cod you never know what your gonna bring up. Full sea bass limit to 5 pounds. NO trip tomorrow

 

Captain Mike reported a good day on the Blackfish boat. The action was non stop with plenty of limits. Biggest fish on the day was just shy of 10 pounds. The short action was out of this world with hundreds of fish going back to swim another day. It has been a really good sign of things to come. Back at it tomorrow at 6am
