We will be sailing one boat tomorrow morning at 6am
Captain Mike reported a very busy day on the blackfish grounds. We tried some new ground for us this season and it was great. Many limits around the boat with some only a few off. Biggest fish in the day was a solid 11lbs with 2 other fish in over 10 right behind it. We had alot more shorts in the mix as well. More cod fish are showing up every day. Sailing at 6am. Monday and Tuesday are not looking great atm.
No cod boat tomorrow. We will be sailing for blackfish at 6am on the Lady Frances.
Captain Mike reported a very windy day on the blackfish boat. We set the double anchor and sat all day and pick away all day long. Only a few fish shy of a full limit of healthy tog. Biggest fish was just under 10lbs. We had a good showing of cod fish as well into the low teens. Sailing tomorrow at 6am
Captain Mike reported a full boat limit and back to the dock before lunch. We had a light crowd and after 2 drops it was limits all around. Biggest fish on the day was around 8 pounds. Both jigs and bait rigs have been working very well. No trip tomorrow but back at it on Friday
Captain Rich reported a good day on the cod grounds. We had a light crowd and great weather. We stayed closed to home and caught all day long. Around 2 dozen cod to 15 pounds were boxed. Sea bass to 5 pounds and scup 3lbs. We are keeping an eye on Friday and Saturdays weather.
Captain Mike reported a improve day on the blackfish boat. The weather was down right perfect with temps in the 60s and light wind. We picked away all day on quality fish to 10 pounds. High hooks had limits. A few cod and sea bass in the mix as well. Sailing both boats tomorrow at 6am
Captain Mike reported a slower day on the blackfish. The morning started out rather windy. As the day went on the weather got better and so did the fishing. High hook had a limit of keepers. The shorts were out in force as well with some anglers catching up to 30. We will be back at it tomorrow at 6am.
NO trips tomorrow due to the weather.
Captain Mike reported an OKay day on the blackfish boat. We picked away on shorts and keepers all day long. The wind was blowing harder then forecasted which seems to be par for the course this year. High hooks had limit catches to 11lbs.
The Lady Frances will be sailing tomorrow morning at 6am.

Captain Mike reported a decent trip for the 50/50 trip. We picked away on quality fish all day. JIgs and bait rigs both produced well. Biggest fish on the day was 10 pounds with a few fish between 9-10 right behind it. The shorts where there to keep things busy as well. We fish both close and far from home. The season still has alot of life left.
Captain Mike reported a decent day on the blackfish boat. We worked closed to home and had plenty of fishing time. High hook caught 12 keeper (orl) with 2 others having 8(orl) Some people didnt fair as well but those who stuck at the rail and didnt mind a little rain were rewarded. Sailing tomorrow on the last 50/50.
Captain rich reported a good day of catching the the cod/sea bass boat. The cod had a lower profile but the sea bass were out in force. We had an easy sea bass limit with another limit thrown back. we had sea bass of all sizes from 7 inches to 6 pounds. Biggest cod was around 13 pounds.
A few more photos sent in from the weekend. The weather has been blowing pretty hard out of the northeast keeping up tied up. Tomorrow is another day with gales posted and no fishing.
