The much needed rain storm shut down the half day operation today but we will back at it tomorrow morning. Space is limited tomorrow morning so calling and placing a reservation is a MUST! Recent half day trips have been producing nice size sea bass and some good fluke. A recent picture from a half day outing this week appears courtesy deck hand Connor.
Capt. Matt reported another great night of Striper fishing aboard the Lady Frances with a boat limit of bass up to 20 lbs. A handful of blue fish too which is something we have not seen much of as of late. Serious peaks and valleys the past few weeks but this week seems to have it going on! Still plenty of room on tonight’s trip so call the office to make a reservation. The Lady is set to sail at 7 pm. One picture from last night’s trip below.
Capt. Rich reported a great day of fishing today for a very light crowd of fishers who braved the much needed rain showers. A nice mess of fluke with some fishers getting several nice fluke apiece and the boat easily limited out on big sea bass. A few blue fish and a few scup. Everyone left with a nice bunch of fish to take home. Biggest fluke of the trip was estimated to be around 5 lbs and biggest sea bass around 4 lbs. Great weather on tap tomorrow and a bit cooler, Capt. Rich will be set to sail on the Gail Frances at 7 am.
