Capt. Rich reported a decent day of fishing. A bit of a late bite but a strong finish always bests a strong start! There were some fluke limits and some quality fish with the best of the lot threatening the 8 lb mark. A nice bunch of sea bass as well for the fishers aboard with a few sea bass limits noted. Some shorts of both species. All in all a very respectable day of fishing and much improved over yesterday. Capt. Rich will set sail tomorrow morning at 7 am aboard the Gail Frances for the full day.
Capt. Matt reported both the morning charter and afternoon open boat half day trips were solid today aboard the Admiral Frances. A nice mix of keeper fluke and keeper sea bass on both and more and more short fluke starting to show up along the local beaches helping to keep rods bent and fishers entertained. Two half days on tap tomorrow with the Admiral Frances set to sail at 8 am and again at 1pm.
