Wednesday July 12th

Capt. Rich reported overall solid fishing and excellent catching today. The caveat being there were lots of throwbacks. Something we have not seen a lot of this season so fishers did stay busy at the rails. There were a handful of fishers who easily limited out. All limit catches using buck tail jigs.  Exceptional rod handler and long time regular customer Hahn from East Longmeadow MA and his fishing partner Mike from Providence RI both easily limited out. Hahn took the pool with a fine 7 lb slab but his fishing partner had the biggest fish of the day with a 9 lbr but was not in the pool. A few handfuls of nice sea bass mixed in. Capt. Rich will set sail again tomorrow at 7 am aboard the Gail Frances.

Capt. Mike reported an awesome morning half day of fishing with a full boat limit of sea bass and many big ones in the 3-4 lb range with a few up to 5 lbs!! The afternoon still saw some limit catches of sea bass but things were a bit more subdued. A few nice fluke mixed in. Two half days on tap tomorrow with the first at 8 am and the second at 1 pm.

The afternoon half day charter aboard the Lady Frances was a big success today! Nice size sea bass and some fluke pleased patrons.
