Sounds like the half days were rockin’ today fish wise, this afternoon’s trip was really great with all kinds of big sea bass to 4 lbs plus and fluke to six pounds pleasing patrons. Rental rods were reported to be producing excellent catches with just the “plain jane” style rig. Many sea bass limits this afternoon and some fishers also had two or three nice size fluke to go with. Two half days on tap tomorrow with the first to set sail on the Admiral at 8 am and the second also on the Admiral at 1 pm. Pictures today provided courtesy owner Christine Blount.
Capt. Rich reported a solid day of fishing on the Gail Frances with a lot of nice size sea bass and some super size scup and a decent shot of fluke with a few angler limits such as longtime regular customer and exceptional rod handler Anthony from NJ. Congrats to longtime customer Wayne’s grandson who took the pool today with a fine 8 lb slab. A nice keeper Striped Bass today as well as a couple of big ocean perch. Capt. Rich will set sail tomorrow morning at 7 am aboard the Gail Frances and like the past few days the weather looks just fantastic.
The afternoon charter for the Providence Fire Dept. went well with cooperative keeper to jumbo size sea bass and more than just a few nice fluke. Sounds like the local beach fishing may be picking back up again! Call going forward regarding available dates for private charters and ask to speak with Cory Roger or Tammy.
