TONIGHT’S BASS TRIP IS CANCELLED!!
Capt. Rich reported a very good day of fluke and sea bass fishing. Much much better numbers of keeper fluke today with some quality jo fish taken. Longtime regular customer and exceptional rod handler Eugene from Stamford CT easily limited out on both the fluke and sea bass and took the pool with fine 7 lb plus slab. There were other fluke limits and also just about a full boat limit of sea bass with some really nice specimens in the 4 to 5 lb range according to first mate Greg. Just a few nice scup mixed in today. Weather looks fine tomorrow and the Gail Frances will be set to sail with Capt. Rich at 7 am.
The morning half day provided fishers with some nice size sea bass and nice fluke. The afternoon half day was excellent with lots of big sea bass bending rods for fishers along with some quality fluke. Most of the fluke keepers were in the 4 lb range. Congrats to longtime customer and excellent rod handler Mike from Providence who took the pool with a fine 5 lb fluke. Two half days on tap tomorrow with the first at 8 am and the second at 1 pm.
