Captain Matt reported a decent day on the full day fluke boat. Many anglers with home with limits of sea bass to 5 pounds. Some nice quality fluke to 8 pounds. Buck tails seemed to be the way to go. There was acres and acres of mackerel with some anglers reporting catching up to a dozen on the fluke rigs. If you had a real mackerel rig you could have done some real damage. Our next trip will be sailing at 7am on Tuesday morning.
Captain Keith reported OK fishing on the morning and afternoon half days. Plenty of keeper sea bass to go home for dinner and a handful of fluke. We will be sailing Half day trips until labor day, so there is still time to enjoy this close to home fishing.
