Saturday October 7th

First mates Zach and Danny reported the local cod fishing was fair today. The action was non stop from start to finish however factoring all the other cellar dwellers that found the fresh shucked skimmer clams impossible to resist. Lots of big scup, some ocean perch, a few good size sea flounders and of course catch and release sea bass fishing like none other. One fisher did box three keeper cod today with a couple of others grabbing two apiece. Nothing big but a couple of 10-12 lbrs to fight it out for bragging rights.  We set sail tomorrow at 7 am aboard the Gail Frances with Capt. Rich at the helm.
