Capt Richie reported a little bit of a picky day as far as the cod were concerned. A few nice ones came over the rails, with the biggest a little shy of 25 lbs. The scup were everywhere and you could easily get your limit if you so desired. Seabass weren’t quite as plentiful as they have been but nonetheless still enough keepers to keep anglers busy throughout the day, and even a few folks with their limit.
Capt Mike reported that Tautog continues to improve. Each day seems to be getting better and better. A few less seabass on that trip today as well. But they did have a few keeper codfish, which is always a bonus. Biggest Tautog was around 7lbs.
Our Cod and Seabass trip is sold out for tomorrow. And we will have NO Tautog trip on Saturday.
Sunday’s weather looks questionable, so be sure to call on Saturday to get an update.
