Captain Matt called in to report a solid day on the local cod grounds. We had a great group of anglers who wanted to get in on some prestorm fishing. The morning started out great with fish coming over the rail left and right. The bite slowed down some so Matt went on the hunt. We found fish at every drop but nothing as good as the morning. High hooks went home with 8 keepers. Most anglers had 3-5 keepers each. Biggest fish of the day was around 20 pounds with many fish in the teen range. We will be tied to the dock for the next few days due to the winter storm.
