Capt George reported a slower morning on the half trip. There was next to zero drift and the fish just did not wanna bite. We did find a few sea bass hiding in the rocks but it was slower over all. Captain Mike did have much better action in the afternoon on the fluke and sea bass. We will have both trips tomorrow at 8am and 1pm.
Captain Rich reported an OK day on the full day boat. He was also plagued with the slow drift conditions. The fluke did take a lower profile to the sea bass. A few dozen keeper fluke to over 6 pounds today. Nearly a full boat limit of sea bass to 4 pounds. The sea bass were not as plentiful as the past few weeks but we still put together a good catch. Over all everything turned out to be a very good day. Our next sailing day will be tomorrow at 7am.
