Captain Rich reported a slower day on the fluke but a bomber day on the sea bass. Biggest sea bass topping the scales at over 6 pounds. The pool winning fluke was around 8 pounds but the biggest fluke of the day was over 10 pounds. There was next to zero for most of the morning. Once the drift picked we did get some fluke but it was much slower then this past week. There will be no 7-4 trip tomorrow only the 5-5 marathon trip.
Captain Mike reported slower fluke fishing this morning due to zero drift, and we did really mean 0.0 drift. The sea bass did help some but we did have high hopes after yesterdays stellar fishing. The afternoon did see much better action. Biggest fluke tipping the scales at over 9 pounds. The half days have been seeing some true monster fluke. We will have both trips tomorrow at 8am and 1pm on the Gail Frances.
