Captain Matt called in to report a solid day on the marathon trip. We did not travel as far this week and it paid off. We had lines in the water before 7 and there was plenty of action. High hooks went home with limits of fish but nearly everyone is leaving with 3-4 fish and a limit of sea bass. There was plenty of bent rods all day between the keeper fluke, short fluke and the sea bass. Matt did try the deeper water for a bit to try and find some true monsters but the biggest fish of the day ended up being over 8 pounds. We will have another trip scheduled for next Monday at 5am.
