Captain Matt was happy to report a day on the marathon trip. The morning started out with some grey ghosts but Matt moved the boat and the fluke started coming over the rails. We had a good 5 hours of fishing before the tide switch and the bite just about shut off. Biggest fish on the day was 12 pounds with a few others in the 9-10 pound range. There was plenty of fish in the 6 pound range with one angler catching hit limit with every fish over 6 pounds. At the end of the day we moved in to the rocks and picked away at some sea bass. We were happy with how the day turned out and we will be continuing our Monday Marathons.
Captain Mike reported a very slow morning on the half day trip. The next to zero tide made for a slow morning. The afternoon did see much better results on the fluke and sea bass. We will have both trips tomorrow at 8am and 1pm.
