Captain Matt reported very good fishing on the half day trips. The mornings drift was rather slow which slowed down the fishing but by trips end the bags were full. Many anglers left with limits of sea bass. Only a handful of fluke with the slower drift. The afternoon did see a better drift and more fluke bending the rods. Many sea bass limits as well. We will have both half day trips tomorrow from 8am to noon and 1pm to 5pm.
Captain Rich reported a slower day on the full day. Slower then it has been the past week but it was still good fishing over all. Anglers still left with limits of both fluke and sea bass. More shorts then we have been seeing as well keeping anglers busy throughout the day. Rich was also plagued with the slower drift conditions for most of the day. There is still pile and piles of bait on the grounds so fishing should continue to be strong. We are planning on sailing tomorrow morning from 7am to 4 pm.
