Captain Matt reported a amazing day on the Marathon trip. In his own words fishing was just “stupid”. The first drift saw 50 keepers come over the rail. The next drift 80 keepers!!!. This is just amazing fishing. Stacks and stacks of bait. Around 10:30 Matt was nearly limited out and did some exploring. We found fluke every where we tried. On top of all the fluke we had a limit of sea bass to 5 pounds. The biggest fluke on the day were around 9 and just shy of 10 pounds. Spots are filling up quick on the next 3 weeks.
Captain George reported decent fishing on the half day trips. The morning trip did see the best action with the tide. Some limits of sea bass but it was slower then we have been seeing. A few more fluke in the afternoon with the faster drift. We will be sailing at 8am and 1pm tomorrow for the half days./
