Captain Matt reported a good day on the full day fluke boat. The morning started out painfully slow with 0.0 drift. The first drift of the day lasted 20 mins covered a grand total of 10 feet. With the slow drift we found some piles of sea bass to work on easily getting a full limit to fish upwards of 5 pounds. Once the drift picked up it was great fluke fishing. Many anglers easily limited out in a few drifts. Quality fish in the 5-7 pound range as well. We will be sailing tomorrow morning at 7am
Captain George reported a slower morning on the half day boat. With next to zero drift for the entire morning even the sea bass didnt not want to bite. Once we started to get a little tide things did improve. Some nice sea bass to 4 pounds and a few fluke made it in to the coolers. The afternoon saw much better fishing with a good drift. We will have both half day trips tomorrow at 8am and 1pm.
