Captain Matt reported a very tough first tune trip. We just couldn’t get a bite going any where we tried. Only a few small mahi were caught. At night the squid were just so thick we could not get the baits down with out getting attacked. From floaters to 1000ft and every where inbetween.
First Mate Cole reported a flat calm day on the full day boat. It was sea bass city with the 0.0. drift and piles of hungry fish. An easy boat limit of sea bass to 5 pounds. Only a handful of fluke but the one that we did have were nice up to 9 pounds. We will try a new area tomorrow with a full report to follow.
