We still have a few spots left on Sundays cod trip leaving at 5am. Reports have been of lots more fish moving to the area as long as we can get away from the grey ones.
Captain Greg reported a decent day on the sea bass today. We had an easy limit of sea bass to 5 pounds. We had many keepers go back as well. It seemed like the sea bass were attacking the baits before the fluke could get a chance. High hook on the fluke caught 5 keepers to 7 pounds. Gulps and bucktails did the job today.
Captain Mike reported good action on the morning half day trip. We sailed with a great crowd after the super hard rain of yesterday. We had many sea bass limits around the boats and lots of small ones to keep rods bent. We even had one 24″ cod fish make its way in to the coolers today.
There will only be a morning trip tomorrow, friday and saturday. No 1-5 Thurs-Saturday
