We will have some room left on tomorrow mornings Marathon trip. It looks like some wind throughout the day and we should have a great drift. Captain rich reported a solid say on the full day fluke boat. We went down to the east and picking thru the sea bass for some quality “JO”fluke. Biggest fluke on the day was 11.35 pounds. Many fish in the 6-8 pound range as well. Full boat limit of sea bass to 5 pounds as well. Sailing tomorrow morning at 5am
Captain Matt reported a steady pick of codfish all day long on the Marathon trip. We took the ride to Coxes and worked the area. Even with a stiff breeze all day we could not get the boat to move over .3. Anglers boxes around 50 keeper cod to 22 pounds. A half dozen fish in the teens. We also had a good showing of blackback flounders, and pollock. Our next trip will be on Aug 11th at 5am.
Captain Greg reported a slower night on the bass boat. We never had a drift over 2kts. We had fish to 15 pounds. More shorts in the mix as well. Fish ranged from 24″ to 15 pounds. We will be trying next week Wed, Fri, and Saturday.
