Capt. Rich and Roger reported that the 7am full day was more relaxed than in recent outings despite the very good drift conditions. A nice mix of fluke and sea bass still pleased the anglers aboard. Hi hook was Mr. Kim who iced six keeper fluke and another gentleman had five keepers. Biggest fluke around five pounds. Some hefty sea bass to 4lbs mixed in as well. Not quite as many shorts so not quite as busy as in previous outings but the fish were relatively spread out and the majority of anglers wound up with at least enough for dinner. Some pics provided courtesy of Roger. Looks like some much drier and beautiful weather tomorrow and Capt. Rich will be ready to sail on the Gail Frances at 7am.
Capt. Matt reported a rocket ship style drift on the Lady Frances this morning and the fluke were as cooperative as could be expected. A nice bunch of fluke to 4lbs. Hi hook had four keepers. Due to the weather the 4pm half day did not have the turnout of fluke enthusiasts required to go and last night’s 4pm half day suffered from lack of drift reported Capt. George. Saturday’s half day scheduled offers an 8am half day and a 4pm half day(tomorrow).
Capt. Chris reported the 7pm to 4pm charter today on the Capt. Frances met with good results with a superb mix of fluke and sea bass with the biggest fluke in the 5lb range and plenty of fillets to go home with the Mike Bachman group today. Mr. Bachman has chartered with us several years in a row and we thank him and his group for their patronage. Still some choice dates available for private charter on the Capt. Frances so if interested call the office for more booking details.
