Captain Rich reported a good day on the full day fluke boat. The fluking was on the slower side but there was a all out crush on the sea bass. As of today the sea bass limit went from 3-7 fish per person. There was no problem catching the limit. One angler reported catching and releasing nearly 40 keepers. Double head seabass was not uncommon. High hook on fluke went home with 3 keepers. Todays pool fish was around 6 pounds.Captain Rich will be sailing tomorrow morning at 7am.
Captain Matt was at the helm of the morning half day trip and reported another good day on the sea bass. Not as savage as last trip but still very good fishing. High hook went home a limit of sea bass to 4 pounds. Many angler left with limits of nice sea bass.The afternoons fishing was a little bit better then the morning. High hooks in the afternoon also went home with a quality of limit of seabass. The Frances Fleet would like to thank everyone whole sailed with us on the 2014 half day season.
Our next scheduled Scup trill will be sailing Wednesday morning at 7am. The report is that there are plenty of large sized scup all over the place. We have been seeing scup on our half day and full day trips.
