The report from Capt. George and Capt. Ted for the full day charter was of a nice full boat limit of good size tasty sea bass and just a few scup. We would like to thank longtime regular charter customer, owner Sharon Paquin for her continued loyalty to the Frances Fleet. Sharon has been taking her employees out for years with us. Still some prime fall dates available for full day scup and sea bass charters so if interested in further booking details please refer to the “private charters” section of the web site or call the office and speak to Tammy Roger or Cory for further booking details.
First mate Greg reported a beautiful day weather wise on the porgy boat but the fishing was a little slow. Quite a few nice keeper sea bass however. A couple pics provided by longtime customer Ginny Reed. Tomorrow is a new day and Capt. Ray will be at the helm ready to set sail aboard the Admiral Frances at 7am.
The cod boat is out with an enthusiastic group of cod enthusiasts today. Cory reported slower than anticipated fishing today. Some cod were taken however with a few guys managing upwards to 3 fish per person. Nothing big but a few nice fish into the low teens. A few big sea flounders, a handful or two of big sea bass, a handful of big platter size scup and some good size ocean perch plus one ling rounded out the days catch. Nobody was reported to have jigged for more than a few minutes today so everything was taken on bait. Tomorrows cod trip is a go on the Gail Frances with Capt. Rich set to sail at 7am aboard the Gail Frances.
The Night Bass trip is a go for tonight and there is plenty of room should anyone want to come down and purchase a ticket on the spot. The trip sails tonight at 7 pm aboard the Admiral Frances.
