It was reported to the office this morning that today is the last day the Gail Frances will be going FLUKE and SEABASS fishing. Although there has been a tremendous amount of seabass over the last few weeks, fluke numbers have dropped off, which is somewhat normal for this time of year. The Gail Frances will begin its FALL COD and SEABASS trips on Saturday September 20th. Those trips will be sailing Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We would like to thank all of our fluke enthusiasts who sailed with us this season. We appreciate your patronage and look forward to those that will join us for some fall codfishing. Keep in mind, fluke remains open till the end of December so if you happen to catch one during the fall you can certainly keep it, as long as its legal size, of course.
Although our FLUKE and SEABASS trip on the Gail Frances has ended a couple days early this week, We will still have SCUP and SEABASS trips on the Admiral Frances. That trip sails on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
There is still plenty of room on tonight’s Extended Tuna Trip. it departs 10:00 p.m. tonight and returns in the afternoon on Friday September 19th.
