Capt. Ray reported a very good day on the scup boat. Limits of seabass all around the boat and buckets of scup for the modest group of anglers on board. A few anglers certainly went home with scup limits while others had a hefty half bucket or so. Scup fishing is getting better and better reported Capt. Ray. The scup boat sails Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our next trip will be Friday morning at 7:00 a.m. Roger will have the office open at 5:30 for ticket sales.
Capt Richie reported that fluke fishing ended on a positive note. The small group of anglers enjoyed a beautiful day on the water and had plenty of fish for their coolers. A mix of fluke, seabass and scup kept anglers pretty much busy all day. Customers and crew were pleased with the day’s results. Captain and crew of the Gail Frances would like to say again, thank you to all that sailed this summer and they hope to see some of you out cod and seabass fishing in the upcoming weeks.
Cod fishing starts Saturday September 20th. We will be sailing on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Lady Frances is out tuna fishing and will return some time Friday afternoon. As soon as we hear how fishing was, we will post. Friday night’s trip still has plenty of room, so if you would like to get on the trip, just give the office a call.
