Capt. Mike reported the half day trips today were both solid. This morning’s saw a decent amount of fluke up to 8 lbs and some nice sea bass while this afternoon’s outing found a boat limit of sea bass and about the same amount of fluke including some nice jo fish in the 4 lb plus range. Two half days on tap tomorrow with the first set to sail at 7am aboard the Lady Frances and the second at 1pm aboard the Admiral Frances. Back to back half days can net an angler a $15 discount off the second half day trip. A couple recent half day pictures are shown above courtesy first mate Greg Hamilton.
The half day afternoon charter for the Ken Marandola group went very well with a limit of sea bass and quite a few nice fluke up to 4 lbs.
The full day fluke/sea bass had a very good day today and Capt. Ted noted the fish were spread out a bit better around the boat. A good number of the anglers aboard had several nice fluke apiece but we are unsure if there were any angler limits. A couple of anglers did have seven nice fluke apiece. Some sea bass and some scup mixed in with just a few blue fish today. Biggest fish was 7 lbs. Quite a few short fluke showing up as well which is always good to see. Tomorrow is a new day and Capt. Rich will be set to sail at 7am aboard the Gail Frances.
There is no night fishing trip tonight. Night Fishing is scheduled for the next three nights weather permitting at 7pm by reservation.
