First mate Chris reported a good day on the full day fluke boat. 6” gulp seemed to be the go to bait for the day. There were plenty of fluke and sea bass every where Captain Rich went. High hook was Mr Kim who boated 12 keeper as well as the pool fish of a solid 7 pounds. There were a hand full of other limits all around the boat. Everyone went home with a bag of fluke and sea bass. The sea bass at time were non stop fishing with some anglers catching half a dozen double headers. Tomorrow is another day and Captain Rich will be setting sail on the Gail Frances at 7am.
Captain Mike reported pretty normal summer half day fishing. A hand full a fluke and plenty of sea bass to keep anglers busy. Pool fish have been 5-6 pound range and plenty of sea bass 3-5 pounds. We only have a few more half day trips left for the season and have plenty of room. So if you want to get in on some fishing before school starts this is a great trip.
