We plan on sailing tomorrow Jan 22nd at 5am for codfish.
Captain Mike reported a very good day on the local cod ground. It was a coin toss for how fishing would be today after the wind from the past few days but the fish were there and hungry. Fishing was good right off the bat but the bite died out and Mike went looking. He found fish here and there but decided to go back to the morning bite spot and it paid off. Many limits around the boat with a 6-7 fish a man average. Fresh bait was the way to go today. Nothing large for the pool but a few fish around 10 pounds battled it out for the pool. We have plenty of room on tomorrows trip so please call the office and make a reservation before 5pm.
